From the Victorian era, a super example of a demi parure comprising of an oval onyx brooch and drop earrings both centrally set with a cluster of pearls in a star-shape motif. The brooch has a rope and beaded edge and is surrounded by four pairs of pearls at equal distance and are joined by beaded and twisted gold sections. The reverse of the brooch has a removable glass frame ready to display a memento of your choice.
A pair of matching drop earrings complete the set. The brooch could be threaded through a chain and worn as a pendant if wanted. Altogether a super demi parure, in lovely condition that comes complete in an antique tooled leather box.
