An unusual 18 karat gold Victorian onyx and diamond, diamond shaped ring. It has a chased border that would have been hand tooled and finished in the later part of the 19th century (1880-1890). In the centre of the onyx diamond shape is a small rubbed over set diamond 0.07ct to highlight the onyx plaque. The shank also has interesting small orb detailing where the shank divides near the head of the ring - a nice added detail. Overall a fine antique ring that is uniquely contemporary in design for a pre-loved Victorian ring.
