A rare and beautiful antique Victorian 18ct heavy link lattice bracelet made up of intersecting diagonal links that create the intricate mesh pattern. The expertly designed and crafted links have no solder to join them in doing so each link is masterfully interwoven and cast to interlock with its neighbour creating a flowing bracelet. The 18ct gold has a rich buttery finish, also weighing 58.1g the flexible, smooth links make it most comfortable to wear.
This interesting piece of antique jewellery incorporates a registry mark as it was considered to be of high merit regarding its unique design and high level of craftsmanship. Victorian ingenuity regarding jewellery never ceases to surprise us... The Registry Mark explains that the item is metal (in this case gold), the date and year of manufacture and also which parcel number it belongs to. The marks enable us to date the item specifically to 4th March 1876. It’s a rare antique whose contemporary design transcends classification in relation to the ear of manufacture and truly fabulous in its appearance when worn.
