A stunning 9ct yellow gold Victorian ruby and diamond bangle that is in superb condition, one of the finest we have seen in long time and appears seldom worn. Dating from circa 1890 the gold of the bangle has picked up a beautiful deep, rich golden hue. The decorative elements on the top of the bangle are finished in a mat texture with bright rubies and diamonds to embellish the design.
Influenced by Gothic design that was so prevalent during this era, this is a excellent antique example from the late Victorian period. The fastener is firm and closes with a nice click, it comes with a safety chain too for added security.
