A very pretty Victorian diamond set (1.30ct) hinged bangle set in 15 karat yellow gold. The diamonds are bright, with a good display of brilliance by daylight or candlelight.
The central motif of this bangle is a ‘daisy’ comprising of nine Old Mine Cut diamonds claw set in silver with a further eight diamonds to complete the design all collet set on the top of this antique piece. The daisy section is estimated at 0.70ct diamond weight with the remaining stones making at total of 1.30ct. The lower half of this hinged piece is knife edged which is typical of the period Circa 1890. A safety chain has been fitted for additional security.
