A solid, 9 yellow gold antique Victorian Albert chain with alternating trombone & round uniform links with a T-bar. Every link is stamped ‘9' '375', the two swivel clips and t-bar are also marked along with the makers mark. The Albert chain can be dated to circa 1898 from the date letter still visible.

Weighing in at 55.7g and measuring 16” or 400mm long the chain is a rare example with many similar chains having been scrapped for the gold. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants. This piece also acts a great investment piece which can also be worn!
