A delightful original antique, this Victorian 9ct yellow gold tassel pendant has all the charm and character expected of a period accessory. The tassel retains all its original drops and the chased detailing, despite being worn retains most of its intricacy. Such tassels would have been used as accessories on Albert chains which were made popular during the reign of Queen Victoria whose husband was Prince Albert - hence the name Albert chain. Today, these tassels make for great necklace accessories worn alongside other charms, pendants or worn to full effect as a stand lone piece.
