Illustrated finger point

A solid, 9ct rose gold antique late Victorian Albert chain with a fancy, engraved box link and T-bar. The two swivel clips and T-bar are marked '9C' to denote the gold fineness. The Albert chain can be dated to circa 1890-1900.

With a weight of 36g and measuring 16” or 400mm long the chain is a rare example with many similar chains having been scrapped purely for the gold content. (ouch) Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants. This piece also acts a great investment piece which can also be worn!
