A stunning 15ct yellow gold Victorian Etruscan Revival propeller brooch finished in a delightful mat/satin finish featuring a central motif adorned with granulation and bead work. Dating from the late 19th century, and hallmarked for Chester 1899, the brooch is a typical all gold brooch that was made popular by the discovery of the anticipant gold working techniques of the Etruscans. It’s size is pleasing allowing the wearer to adorn the lapel of a blazer or a-fix together an open shirt or cardigan. A fantastic antique brooch with period style and elegance.
