A very pretty Victorian 12ct yellow gold four stone ruby and pearl cluster ring, dating to circa 1871. At the the head of the ring four oval cut rubies surround the central split pearl which are all claw set and contained within a beaded edge. To either side of the top of the shank is fine floral style detailing. The ring retains its full hallmarks for Birmingham, 1871.

CONDITION – The ring is in overall good condition for its age. The rubies are in good condition with only light surface scratches but facet edges in good order. Pearl in fair condition has had some nacre layers removed. The shank is in good order.
