A wonderful Victorian diamond star or otherwise known as a ‘sunburst’ brooch dating from the late 19th century comprising of approx 1.50ct of Old Mine cut diamonds. This quaint brooch, measuring 32mm diameter is set in 18ct gold with a silver front, which was typical of the period to enhance the diamonds in a white setting. It’s design is formed around a central diamond around which twelve points radiate out from its centre. There is very little wear to the brooch, it is in superb condition.
