A stylish and sweet mid century Portuguese 18ct yellow gold ruby eyed snake or serpent ring dating from circa 1960. A fine example of vintage craftsmanship this dainty ring is very fine and equally sweet with the endearing face of the snake with red eyes being a great piece for stacking or acting as keeper ring. Its infinite looping body akin to the ancient ouroboros has clear hallmarks denoting the ring was hand crafted in the city of Porto in Portugal. A very charming piece and great for accessorising.
