A solid and stylish mid century gents 14ct yellow gold, blue synthetic sapphire signet ring dating from circa 1960. The ring of Danish design is marked with the maker John Hans Jørgen Larsen (JoL) who operated in Copenhagen from 1957-1973. The ring has a central, rub over set rectangular faceted synthetic sapphire of deep purplish, blue hue that is flat faced ideal for engraving an insignia or coat of arms. A great vintage mens ring that is also a great size.
