A beautifully crafted large Victorian 15ct yellow gold spider bar brooch set with an amethyst body and aquamarine crown decoration. In fantastic condition, it looks like new and so contemporary in its appeal. It is presented in a superb antique leather tooled case which is included. Measuring 60mm long this is a beautifully modelled piece of jewellery in a substantial 15ct gold setting.
Spider or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian era (1837-1901).
