A charming silver antique albertina bracelet with two embossed spherical sections with a pretty tassel that hangs from the bracelet when worn by a lady. Connected by a belcher link chain and a triple rope section, this pre-loved bracelet has a swivel clasp with a solid silver T-bar. There are 2 ball sections that make up the whole of this interesting Victorian antique albertina. A very pretty example of an Edwardian design circa 1910 that is so wearable today.
Named after Prince Albert, (1819 – 1861) queen Victoria’s consort the Albert is a single watch chain. The albertina is a more decorative version of its male counter part. The albertina usually with tassels, balls and decorative motifs not usually used to carry a watch was used more as a decorative item to compliment a ladies attire.
