A beautifully simple Edwardian 9ct yellow gold double swallow brooch hand crafted in 1904. The two swallows in mid flight often employed to symbolise renewal, revival, and a return to life after loss are masterfully carved and their textured surface remains in fantastic condition. With clear hallmarks to the reverse for Birmingham circa 1904 this brooch is a delightful piece and has a timeless style delisted being over 100 years old.
