A 9 karat rose gold Edwardian curb bracelet with chasing to the links. Every link is stamped ‘9ct’ which is a really nice touch and often executed on jewellery of this era. Hallmarked for Chester in 1908 this is a lovely piece of antique Edwardian jewellery. It comes with a large padlock and safety chain for added security.
The Chester assay office closed in 1962, it was opened in 1818. Rose gold antique items were popular during the Edwardian period, quite simply more copper was added to the gold alloy to produce this reddish hue.
