A beautiful Edwardian 18 karat yellow gold, precious opal and diamond three stone ring set with six old cut diamonds. The six diamonds are Early European cut, estimated at 0.04cts per stone ie 0.24cts total. A lovely period example of an antique opal ring, all the stones are millegrain and claw set. Opals were only discovered in Australia in 1880 so this ring would have been produced from that period onwards. An antique pre-owned ring in lovely condition for its age. Makers mark for Charles Green and Sons. C.G & S
