Illustrated finger point

An impressive early Edwardian 18ct yellow gold citrine set fob seal dating from 1902. The original owner made the decision to keep the base blank which means the new owner still has the possibility to have a monogram or crest engraved. A nice detail is the hallmarks to this fob which date the fob from 1902 and the assay office of Chester, in North of England.

The design itself has a round hood at the top ideal for suspending from a chain or necklace. From there the applied wreath design and splayed, openwork panels meet the base which is ornately decorated in deeply chased foliate patterns. A wonderful antique fob seal thats a perfect addition to a collectors hoard or worn as stand alone pendant.
