A super, heavy 15ct yellow gold antique Edwardian Albert chain with alternating trombone and three round uniform links. Every link is stamped ‘15.625’ along with the t-bar. The chain has one swivel 'dog' clasp and one large spring loaded jump/bolt ring, both of which are in full working order.

Weighing at a pleasing 56.5 grams and measuring 16.5” (420mm) long the chain is a rare example with many similar chains having been melted down. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants.
