A pretty and unusual Edwardian 15ct gold chrysoprase carved cameo ring, dating from circa 1904. The cameo depicts the classic image of a Greeko-Roman goddess figure, possibly the Greek goddess Terpisichore often being depicted as 'delight in dancing'. The shank is ornate and unusually designed, being split and ridged with a beaded edge and reeded base. This really makes this antique ring unique. The hallmarks for Birmingham remain clear dating the ring to 1904.
