A beautifully crafted early 20th century 9ct yellow gold spider bar brooch set with a light blue topaz body and a deep blue sapphire adorning his crown. In fantastic condition and so contemporary in its appeal the brooch measures 50mm long and is a delightfully modelled piece of antique jewellery. Spider or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian era (1837-1901).
