A timeless Art Deco platinum and 18ct gold jabot brooch pin set with old cut diamonds and dates from circa 1920. Made during the height of their popularity the Art Deco jabot pin was a functional piece of jewellery and used to secure ruffled or lace pieces of fabric. The arrow design sees the tip head designed in a cursive fashion with the feathered end formed of 8 ‘fletchings’ which is removed by twisting and pulling (see the video). A stunning brooch pin that is in excellent condition and so versatile.
